After impulsively deciding to go on a road trip across the country, we only got to see April and Andy arrive at the Grand Canyon while none of the action on the road made it into the episode. Well, while NBC deemed road trip antics unsuitable for the actual show, they thought it would be fun to make a few webisodes and post them on NBC.com. You can watch them below:

I’m so happy I found this! I love the show, but haven’t started the new season yet. I recently watched another film with the actress that plays April. Although these two characters are not the main ones, they are integral to the show’s dynamics. I think other television shows could take a note from NBC on this idea. Making webisodes for sub plotlines is a great idea. This serves as another platform to reach the fan base and even serves as another way to make money from advertising.
